Create Virtual Products: Simplify Selling Digital Downloads & Services on IG60

Now, you can easily create virtual products directly from the product creation page. 

Under the "Advanced Options", you have the ability to enable the "Virtual Product" option. 

Here are the three choices available to you:

1. Upload a file
   If you are selling a downloadable product, you can upload the file which will be available for download after payment.

2. External Link
   If you wish to redirect your customers to an external page or another download platform, you can enter the URL here.

3. Service
   If your product is a service (without a download), select this option. No file will be provided, but you can include instructions on how the service will be rendered.

Delivery Instructions:

In this section, you can enter additional details or instructions regarding the virtual product or service you are offering. 

This information will be displayed with the download button on the thank you page after payment.

Important to Know:

• Shipping fees: Shipping fees will be automatically hidden and ignored for virtual products.

• Virtual Product Security:
  To ensure the security of your virtual products, download links are protected.

  • If the customer is not logged into their account, they will not be able to share the download link. We control the customer's IP address to prevent any unauthorized sharing attempts.

  • If the customer is logged into their account, even if the IP address changes (for example, if they use another device like a mobile or a PC), they will be able to access the content from their order list.
    This system allows for increased flexibility and security for product access.

Validity Period and Security:

By default, download pages are valid for 24 hours after purchase. 

You can adjust this setting on the page Settings -> Security -> Virtual Product Security

Here are the options available for virtual product security:

• Availability Duration (in hours): Define how many hours access to the product will remain valid after purchase.

• Limit Number of Downloads: If activated, you can set a maximum number of allowed downloads.

  • Max number of downloads: Specify the maximum number of times the product can be downloaded.

This security and virtual product management system allows you to offer a smooth and secure shopping experience for your customers while protecting your digital content.

Test the System:

You can test this system by temporarily activating cash on delivery to see how it works before switching to the online payment option. 

This will allow you to ensure the smooth running of the purchase and download process.
