Estimate Operational Costs & Master Your Profitability with IG60
To calculate the true profitability of your store, knowing your sales isn't enough; you also need to account for the costs associated with order processing.
We know that regularly recording every expense in the Expenses section can be time-consuming. That's why we've added a new feature: estimated operational costs by order status.
1. ⚙️ How it works
Go to the Orders menu → Order Statuses.
A new column, "Estimated Cost (TND)", allows you to define the cumulative estimated operational cost of an order when it reaches a given status.

Concrete example:
Pending:
9 TND— estimated advertising costs per order ($3).Confirmed:
10 TND— advertising (9 TND) + confirmation call (1 TND).In Preparation:
11 TND— advertising (9 TND) + confirmation call (1 TND) + packaging (1 TND).Shipped / Delivered:
19 TND— advertising (9 TND) + confirmation call (1 TND) + packaging (1 TND) + delivery (8 TND).Returned:
15 TND— advertising (9 TND) + confirmation call (1 TND) + packaging (1 TND) + return fees (4 TND).
These amounts are examples: adapt them to your actual costs.
💡 Important: enter the total cumulative operational cost for each status, not just the additional cost for that specific step.
2. 📊 New indicators in your statistics

Once your costs are configured, your Statistics page will be enriched with new indicators to better understand your profitability.
📦 Estimated Order Costs: the total order processing costs for the selected period, with the average cost per order.
🔥 Cost of Goods Sold per Order: a more comprehensive view integrating product purchase cost, recorded expenses, and operational order costs.
💵 Net Profit: an estimate of your profit after deducting the costs included in the calculation.
🎯 Net Profit per Order: your average profit per order helps you estimate the maximum advertising acquisition cost not to exceed to remain profitable.
3. 🧾 Estimated costs or recorded expenses: which to choose?
We recommend that you continue to regularly record your expenses in the Expenses section.
This allows you to maintain an accurate history of your actual expenses, profits, and better track their evolution.
However, if you don't always have time to record every expense, estimated operational costs by status offer a simpler solution to get an overall view of your profitability.
The two approaches are complementary, but be careful: do not count the same costs twice in your calculations.
🎯 Why is it useful?
You gain better visibility into what your orders actually cost you, even if you don't systematically record every expense.
This allows you to better evaluate your margins, identify costs to optimize, and make more informed advertising decisions.
✅ Result: a clearer view of your profitability, with less manual entry and better control of your activity.
This feature is available now. Go to Orders → Status Management to configure your estimated costs.
