IG60 POS: Sessions, X & Z Reports for Optimal Cash Control

To further enhance cash control, we've added POS session management, along with X and Z reports.

🔓 Opening a Session

When a cashier opens the POS, they can enter the initial amount present in the cash drawer to start their session.

It's also possible to allow a cashier to use the POS without opening a session. This option can be controlled directly from the roles and permissions of their user profile.

🧾 All Operations Are Recorded

When a session is open, all POS sales made during that session are automatically associated with it.

The cashier can also record cash movements:

  • ➕ Cash In
  • ➖ Cash Out
  • 📝 A note for each movement

This allows for precise tracking of what happened in the cash drawer.

📊 X Report — Control Anytime

At any time, the cashier can view or download their X report to check:

  • sales made;
  • amounts collected;
  • different payment methods;
  • cash movements;
  • the theoretical cash drawer content.

This is practical for performing a check before the end of the day or shift.

🔒 Closing a Session

At the end of their shift, the cashier closes their session and enters the actual amount present in the cash drawer.

IG60 then compares the expected amount with the counted amount.

In case of a discrepancy, the variance is recorded, and the cashier is prompted to add a note to explain the difference.

👨‍💼 Administrator Control

From the POS menu, the administrator can view all sessions, including their history.

They can specifically check:

  • 📅 open and closed sessions;
  • 👤 the cashier involved;
  • 💰 the initial and final amounts;
  • 📦 sales;
  • 💵 cash transactions;
  • 💳 card payments and other payment methods;
  • ➕➖ cash movements;
  • ⚠️ cash discrepancies;
  • 📝 associated notes.

They can also view and print the report for each session.

🎯 Why is this useful?

Each session becomes a true cash drawer traceability record: who started, what sales were made, what movements occurred, how much should have been in the drawer, and how much was actually found.

More control, more transparency, and far fewer "Where did that money go?" moments! 😄

🏷️ An Initial Status for Each Order Type

To better distinguish between POS, online, and direct orders (those entered from the orders page), we've also improved status management.

In the status manager, you can now define a different initial status for each order type.

For example, you can assign the initial status "POS" to orders created from the POS.

🔎 Filter by Source in Orders

On the orders page, a new filter has also been added to the Source column.

This allows you to easily filter orders by their origin:

  • 🖥️ POS
  • 🌐 Online
  • ✍️ Direct — entered from the orders page.

🎯 Result: better separation of different order types and clearer tracking of their processing.
